English - Verse 80 - 89

  1. Meditation prepares you for integral experience or direct intuitive knowledge.
  2. A Bhakta practises Saguna Dhyana on the form of Ishta Devata.
  3. A Hatha Yogi meditates on the Chakras and the presiding deities.
  4. A Jnana Yogi meditates on his own Self.
  5. A Raja Yogi meditates on the special Purusha who is not affected by afflictions and desires.
  6. Gaze at the picture of the Lord, your Ishta Devata for a few minutes and close your eyes. Then try to visualise the picture mentally. When it fades, open your eyes and gaze again.
  7. When you get a flash of illumination, do not be frightened. It will be a new experience of immense joy. Do not stop here. You will have to advance further. This is not the whole experience.
  8. Whatever he (the Yogic practioner) sees with his eyes, let him consider as Atman. Whatever he hears with his ears, let him consider as Atman.
  9. The central teaching of the Gita is to realise in and through the world.
  10. Without Brahmachaya no iota of spiritual progress is possible.

  1. Die Meditation bereitet Dich auf die Erfahrung des Einssein oder das direkte intuitive Wissen vor.
  2. Ein "Bhakta" praktiziert "Saguna Dhyana" auf das Bild seines "Ishta Devata" (Gott).
  3. Ein "Hatha-Yogi" meditiert auf die "Chakras" und die entsprechenden vorherrschenden Gottheiten.
  4. Ein "Jnana-Yogi" meditiert auf das eigene Selbst.
  5. Ein "Raja-Yogi" meditiert auf "Purusha" (die universelle Seele), die nicht durch Leid und Wünsche berührt ist.
  6. Betrachte das Bild Deiner bevorzugten Gottheit ("Ishta Devata") für einige Minuten und schließe dann die Augen. Dann versuche das Bild mit geschlossenen Augen zu visualisieren. Wenn sich dieses Bild vor dem inneren Auge wieder auflöst, dann öffne wieder die Augen und beginne von vorne.
  7. Fürchte Dich nicht, wenn Dir eine blitzartige Erleuchtung erscheint. Es wird eine neue Erfahrung für Dich sein, die von großer Freude begleitet ist. Höre nicht auf zu meditieren. Du mußt fortfahren. Dieses ist nicht die ganze Erfahrung.
  8. Was auch immer der Yogi mit seine Augen sieht, laß es ihn als "Atman" betrachten. Was auch immer er hört, laß es ihn als "Atman" betrachten.
  9. Die zentrale Lehre der Gita ist die Verwirklichung in der Welt und durch die Welt.
  10. Ohne Brahmacharya (Enthaltsamkeit) ist nicht der kleinste spirituelle Fortschritt möglich.
