Strahlen der Konzentration und Meditation

Verse 1 - 9

English - Verse 1 - 9

  1. Concentration and meditation are the royal roads to perfection.
  2. Fix the mind on one object either within the body or without. Keep it there steadily for some time. This is concentration.
  3. Concentration purifies and calms the surging emotions, strengthens the current of thought and clarifies the ideas.
  4. Meditation is the only royal road to the attainment of salvation or Moksha.
  5. Meditation produces sense of oneness. It is a mysterious ladder that connects earth and heaven und takes the aspirant to the immortal abode to Brahman.
  6. Meditation is of two kinds viz., Saguna Dhyana (concrete meditation) and Nirguna Dhyana (abstract meditation).
  7. In concrete meditation the Yogic student meditates on the form of Lord Krishna, Rama, Sita, Vishnu, Siva, Gayatri or Devi. In abstract meditation he meditates on his own Self or Atman.
  8. If your mind is restless, you cannot make any progress.
  9. You must be very regular in your practices. Otherwise laziness and adverse forces will take you away from Lakshya (goal of concentration).

Deutsch - Verse 1 - 9
