The Town Horn-Bad Meinberg
is located at the fringes of the natural paradise "Teutoburger Forest". Horn-Bad Meinberg is a sanatorium and state spa with historic mineral and mud baths and a wide range of recreational attractions. Horn and Bad Meinberg have idyllic town centers. Cycle tracks and hiking trails invite you to enjoy the beautiful nature. There is the possibility to make interesting excursions: to the historic city center of Horn, to the legendary Hermanns Memorial, the Westphalian Open Air Museum in the city of Detmold, a princely residence, or to the Weserrenaissance Museum in the Caste Brake or the Emmer Lake.
Bad Meinberg is regarded as a special power place: directly by the town you find the Extern Stones, a natural wonder out of stone, rocks up to a hight of 38 meters. They are considered as a sanctuary since Germanic times.
The new House Yoga Vidya is located quietly at the outskirts of Bad Meinberg, 5-10 minute walking distance away from the hot mineral springs with sauna area. Directly beside the House Yoga Vidya lies the big park "Silvaticum" with fascinating trees from all over the world. The park gives way to a beautiful forest.
