These five techniques are: Vamana (therapeutic vomiting), Vireka (purgation), Basti (oil enema), Nasya (cleaning of the nose) and Rakta Mochana (cleaning of the blood by herbs). KRIYA YOGA Intensive With Dr. Nalini Sahay
Instructor: Dr. Nalini Sahay
If you have been practicing asanas, pranayamas, mudras and bandhas regularly for two years or more, you are ready to learn Kriya Yoga. These twenty powerful practices constitute a conflict-free, non-confrontational routine for awakening your inner power. Kriya Yoga techniques enable you to open the chakras, purify the nadis, and awaken Kundalini Shakti.
After completing this course, it is suggested that you continue with the practice for thirty minutes daily, in the manner specified. The various practices harmonise the pranic forces within your body. They help you to attain bliss, peace, tranquillity. Vipareeta karani, mudra amrit pan, mudras and bandhas regulate your system. The degenerative process is reversed as the sahasrara chakra is stimulated. This improves the functioning of all bodily organs, systems, mind and emotions.
The twenty practices may be divided into three groups:
1.Those which induce pratyahara (nine)
2.Those which induce dharana (ten).
3.Those which induce dhyana(one).
Traditionally, these were never taught publicly, but were communicated verbally from guru to disciple. Paramahansa Swami Satyanandji first taught these kriyas in the early 1960s as he felt that kriya yoga fulfils the need of spiritual enlightenment in this millennium.

– Aparoksha Anubhutli – The direct realizing of your true Self
Instructor: Chandra Cohen, Sukadev Bretz
This advance training will give you the techniques to attain Self-realisation. The text of "Aproksha Anubhuti", with its 144 sutras is a concise and brilliant work. We will use it to unfold the teachings of Shankaracharya, the great Indian philosopher and master of Vedanta.
If you take it to heart, the great message of Vedanta will revolutionize your thinking, your understanding of yourself and of the world. It will inspire you to question and overcome many of your pre-conceptions. Examining, debating, challenging and meditating on the highest metaphysical truths will lead you step by step to a clearer understanding of the essential unity of everything, and of your own true nature as pure Sat-chid-ananda.
Aproksha Anubhuti gives concrete exercises to directly understand the highest reality. These practical meditations show Shankaracharya’s jnana yoga interpretation of the eight limbs of raja yoga: yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana and samadhi. It views these practices in a much broader metaphysical sense than in Patanjali's Yoga Sutra.
This promises to be a unique seminar for sincere spiritual aspirants which will aid you greatly in your spiritual development. It will include an overview of classical Indian scriptures and schools of philosophy. In addition: stress management, stress psychology, anatomy and physiology of the musculo-skeletal system, and hatha yoga teaching techniques will be integrated.
This same seminar is available as Advanced Yoga Teachers Training Course Intensive F6 – with lectures on Aparoksha Anubhuti plus additional Vedanta talks instead of Hatha Yoga teaching techniques and stress management:

Rare glimpses on Vedic psychology
Instructor: Acharya Harilalji
Modern psychology originated from contemplation on the Soul. Later, as the concept of Soul is not accepted by the modern science, it allegedly turns out that ‘the mind is a byproduct of the body’. In psychiatry, the mind is the result of chemical changes in the body. Woodworth jokes about modern psychology as; “At first, psychology lost its Soul, then it lost its mind, later on it lost its consciousness. However, it has behavior of some sort.” This tells the present status of modern psychology.
In Vedic science, the mind is the product of Soul. In order to experience this world, Soul was extended into mind. And the indriyas (sense organs limbs) are the product of mind in order to deal with the world. To know about mind, one should approach the mind with the combination of body and soul. Understanding the 4 qualities of the mind- Mana, budhi, ahankara and chitta - is important to understand the mind. The knowledge of mind is not compressed in one scripture, but it is spread in many. This seminar aims to give a glimpse on the knowledge of psychology contained in Vedic scriptures.

Advanced Yoga Teachers Training Course Intensiv F7 - Yoga Vasishta
Instructor: Leela Mata, Viveka Kurth
Look forward to a unique seminar: the highest philosophical wisdom of the Yoga Vasishta will be interpreted and explained wisely, sensitively and intuitionally. Hatha Yoga teaching techniques, motivating students to practice, Yoga for juveniles, and many other topics with be covered.
The Yoga Vasishta is one of the most important jnana yoga scriptures. The sage Vasishta explains the highest wisdom of Vedanta to Prince Rama, who is desperate to understand the suffering of the world and to find a deeper meaning to life. This work is contains unbelievable stories – sometimes funny, often surreal - about parallel universes, whose purpose is to show the illusionary nature of this world and of our conceptions of “I”.
However, the Yoga Vasishta is no work for ivory-towered scholars; in fact, the opposite is true. Its main statement is: realize that beyond the relative "reality", there is one unique and absolute truth; realize that you are Brahman, pure consciousness. Free yourself from all limiting identifications and then act with detachment in the world. That is the path to overcome suffering and to live a happy life.

Panchakarma Cure with Leela Mata
Instructor: Leela Mata
Panchakarma, the well known ayurvedic treatment, is one of the most effective methods of cleaning the entire body. It regenerates and revitalises you, starting from the cellular level. Deep-seated blockades in the channels of the body are released; the total organism is detoxicated and regenerated. This process is especially effective when assisted by yoga, meditation and the singing of bhajans.
“Pancha” means “five” and “karma” means “techniques of cleansing”. The five techniques of cleansing are: Vamana (therapeutic vomiting), Vireka (purgation), Basti (oil enema), Nasya (cleaning of the nose) and Rakta Mochana (cleaning of the blood by herbs). The process of deep cleansing, strongly activates your power of self-healing. This process will be assisted by daily abhyanga massages (3-4 massages by another participant in the workshop and 3-4 guided self massages), exhalation therapy and a special diet.
Leela Mata will discuss the ayurvedic concept of constitution and give each participant a private consultation.
